I guess China was the topic for the night! My husband just shared that while I was in Kroger that he and our oldest daughter had the following conversation:
Daughter: "Daddy, can you read the Chinese words on my sword? (fake one from a wonderful carnival game)
Daddy: "No, I can't read Chinese."
Daughter: "I thought you could because you were in China. I thought they might have TAUGHT you something while you were there."
My husband proceeds to tell her that he does know 2 words in Chinese, "Hello"/"Thank You". She proceeds to tell him that she knows the same words!! No need to travel to China, just watch "Kai-Lan" on Nick Jr.
