A glimpse into the future?

I'm not sure if this is a glimpse into the teenage years for our youngest, but if it is, WATCH OUT!

So, last night we are eating dinner. . .well the rest of us are finished and our youngest is still delaying the inevitable. . .and we look at M and she is dumping corn onto the floor with her spoon. My husband says to her, "What are you doing?". She just looks up, keeps on going, and refuses to answer. So, my husband repeats the question to which she says, "I'm not supposed to talk" (b/c earlier she was told to stop talking b/c she wasn't eating). To which, I almost cracked up! (oops!) Then, she adds, "I'm not putting it onto the floor. . .it's going into the register!! UGH!
